Christian Nolan was born in Washington, DC and hails from the Commonwealth of Virginia. With the red Virginia clay still clinging to his shoes, he deserted the U.S. for Montreal, at the height of Quebec Separatism, to attend McGill University, studying Economics and Political Science. In 1981 this qualified him for a traineeship in the Foreign Investment Dept. at the only U.S. private Commercial bank and broker dealer, Brown Brothers Harriman. In 1990 he completed an MBA in Finance from the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University.

Over the course of his career, Christian has worked in the institutional markets as a U.S. equity salesman, a junior international economist, a money market and foreign exchange corporate trader in bank treasury, an interest rate salesman, a U.S. product specialist based in Hong Kong and now a Financial Advisor and Insurance agent at Blue Ocean Wealth Solutions, an agency of MassMutual. In his current role Christian works with individuals and businesses in structuring life insurance and disability insurance plans, corporate benefits, college savings and retirement plans.

Christian is married and has a 23-year old son from his first marriage. His secret to success is polite tenacity, a friendly disposition and always to be networking. He is a member of Out Professionals, Secretary Treasurer of Manhattan BNI Chapter 46, an active member of the Long Island branch of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and is a lector at his parish, St. Ignatius Loyola Church.
